Thank you for taking the time to view my work and learn about my life.

I am a UI/UX Designer working remotely and raising a family in sunny Tallahassee, Florida. I have my BA in English/Communications from Florida State University and started my career in nonprofit foundation work. I helped fund local nonprofits through local philanthropists in the panhandle then moved up north, working with Chicago Public School teachers who wanted to enhance their classrooms and teachings. After a rewarding six years in the nonprofit sector, I wanted to learn how to connect people with technology in a more empathetic and ubiquitous way than I had seen previously in my career.

Was there a space to integrate the indifferent efficiency of technology with the warmth of human interaction?

I completed the User Experience Design Immersive at General Assembly Chicago in 2019, and now have a few years of experience working on large projects and with small startups. I want to continue to improve interaction and engagement with compassionate and thoughtful design.
