Design System
There was no design system in place, so to maintain consistency and efficiency for handoff to development I established a robust collection of reusable components, guided by clear practices.
This system includes colors, typography, iconography, components, design patterns, and more. This guide is used cross-departmentally.
Prototypes
I designed a 200+ screen high-fidelity prototype that was successfully implemented by development.
requirements came from upper management by way of product managers
utilized Azure DevOps for agile sprints
utilized Adobe Creative Cloud for design team collaboration
tested iterations
passed off designs to developers along with instructions for build
User Flows
I built out specific user flows to be presented to stakeholders and to internally show our use cases. Flows included:
Faculty
Student
Administrator

Feature Planning
I worked cross-departmentally to prioritize and then build new or improved features. Feature requests came from stakeholders, administrators, and users.
